Moving across Europe without the guesswork
Every successful international move starts with a clear route. We coordinate collection, vehicle space, access and delivery so you know what happens next from the moment you book.
Check your route and priceMove to Europe with Kanguro — more care, less cost.
Start your next chapter in Europe with a moving service that makes the journey simpler. Whether you are sending a few boxes, relocating from a flat or moving a full family home, Kanguro provides reliable, door-to-door removals from the UK to Europe. We help you find the right transport option for your belongings, your destination and your budget.
Our shared-load service makes international moving more affordable by bringing together customers travelling along the same routes. Instead of paying for an entire vehicle, you pay only for the space your belongings occupy. Our yellow vans operate across the UK and Europe six days a week, allowing us to match many bookings with journeys already planned, reduce empty mileage and share transport costs. It is a practical way to save money without giving up careful handling or professional service.
For larger moves or schedules that need a more individual approach, we also offer dedicated transport.
Moving your belongings across borders should be straightforward, transparent and affordable. We provide low-cost, door-to-door transport for households, students and businesses. Operating six days a week, we collect from the whole UK and deliver directly to destinations throughout the continent.

The Kanguro Advantage: Proven by customers
We are an established European removals company with 12 years of experience perfecting cross-border transport. Our network keeps European routes in motion, six days a week. Rather than acting as a casual courier, we offer a structured booking process that lets you match the vehicle to your exact load size.
A simple four-step process keeps the move clear from the first enquiry to delivery.
Send both postcodes, the expected volume, access notes and preferred dates.
Choose a shared load, dedicated vehicle or storage-supported plan.
Our team arrives as arranged and prepares the load for its European journey.
Your belongings arrive at the destination with clear coordination throughout.

One Hop to Europe is our promise of one joined-up moving plan—from online pricing and load selection to collection and door-to-door delivery. It does not mean every shared load travels without scheduled stops; it means one specialist team coordinates the information needed for your move.

Answers to common questions about routes, pricing, furniture, delivery and customs.
Planning a move between the UK and Europe? Find clear answers about our routes, prices, shared-load service, delivery times, customs, insurance and storage. Kanguro specialises in low-cost European removals, with vehicles operating six days a week in both directions.
Kanguro specialises in removals from the UK to Europe and from Europe back to the UK. We transport everything from a few boxes or individual pieces of furniture to the contents of a complete home.
Our busy European network, shared-load service and vehicles operating six days a week allow us to provide reliable door-to-door removals at some of the most competitive prices on the market.
Our regular destinations include Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg. We collect and deliver in major cities, smaller towns and rural areas, subject to vehicle access and route availability.
We operate in both directions. This means we can move your belongings from anywhere in the UK to these countries, or from any of these countries back to the UK. If your location is not listed, contact us and we will check whether we can include it in one of our European routes.
We specialise in shared-load and part-load removals. Instead of charging every customer for a separate vehicle, we combine compatible moves travelling in the same direction. You pay for the vehicle space your belongings use rather than the cost of an entire half-empty van or lorry.
Our vehicles operate across Europe six days a week, and our routes stay busy in both directions. This allows us to reduce empty mileage, use vehicle space efficiently and keep our prices very low. It is a smarter transport model that saves you money without reducing the care given to your belongings.
Our current starting prices are:
| Load size | Maximum weight | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| 2.5 m³ | 200 kg | £600 |
| 5 m³ | 300 kg | £700 |
| 10 m³ | 600 kg | £1,000 |
| 15 m³ | 900 kg | £1,300 |
| 20 m³ | 1,200 kg | £1,500 |
| 40 m³ | 3,000 kg | £3,000 |
| 60 m³ | 7,000 kg | £4,500 |
These rates apply to moves from the UK to Europe and from Europe back to the UK. There is no VAT to add, and the quoted removal price includes ferry or Channel Tunnel charges.
The amounts shown are starting prices. Your final quote depends on the collection and delivery locations, total volume and weight, moving date, property access, storage requirements and any additional services. Enter your details in our online booking system to receive a price for your route.
Customs-clearance assistance is free for 2.5 m³ and 5 m³ loads. For loads of 10 m³ or more, the customs-clearance charge is £250.
This is Kanguro’s customs-clearance service charge. Any customs duty or tax imposed by an authority because the goods do not qualify for relief would be separate. Our team will explain the documents required for your route and help coordinate the clearance process.
Your quote includes:
There is no VAT added to the quoted removal price. Any customs-clearance charge that applies to your load will be shown separately.
A shared load, also called a part load, means that your belongings travel in a vehicle with other customers’ consignments going in the same direction. Each customer reserves a specific amount of vehicle space, and every consignment is organised and secured for the journey.
This is usually the most economical way to move a smaller or medium-sized load across Europe. Because our vehicles run six days a week and carry several planned consignments, we can keep prices low while still providing collection and delivery at the required addresses.
Yes. We transport boxes, bags, personal belongings, individual pieces of furniture, student loads, the contents of flats and houses, office furniture and business equipment.
A shared load is often ideal for boxes, selected furniture and smaller household moves. For larger moves, you can reserve a larger section of a vehicle or discuss a dedicated transport option with our team.
Yes. Customers are responsible for packing, wrapping and preparing all belongings properly for an international move before collection. Boxes should be strong, securely closed and clearly labelled. Furniture and fragile items should be suitably wrapped for handling and long-distance transport.
Inside the vehicle, our driver provides removal blankets, straps and furniture protection as standard. These materials add protection during transport and help keep the load secure, but they do not replace the customer’s responsibility to pack and prepare every item correctly before collection.
Yes. The standard price includes one driver, who helps with loading and unloading, stacks and secures the boxes and furniture inside the vehicle, and measures the final load.
Please tell us in advance about stairs, long carrying distances or items that cannot be handled safely by one person. This allows us to confirm what assistance will be needed at each address before moving day.
Yes. Every move includes goods-in-transit insurance up to £10,000, subject to the insurer’s terms, packing requirements and exclusions.
Tell us before booking if your consignment includes fragile, antique or high-value belongings, or if the total value is more than £10,000. This allows us to check whether the standard cover is suitable and explain any additional requirements.
Choose a load size that can hold all your belongings without exceeding its weight limit. Include every box, bag, appliance and piece of furniture in your estimate. Measure large items and tell us about anything unusually heavy or oversized.
Our driver measures the load when it is placed in the vehicle. If the actual volume or weight is greater than the space booked, the price may need to be adjusted and additional space will depend on vehicle availability.
If you are unsure whether you need 5 m³, 10 m³ or more, contact our team before booking. We can help you estimate the space required and reduce the risk of insufficient capacity on collection day.
We guarantee delivery within two to seven working days from collection. Our vehicles operate six days a week, allowing us to maintain frequent services throughout our European network.
Shared-load vehicles follow carefully planned routes and may complete other scheduled collections and deliveries along the way. This efficient route planning is one of the reasons we can offer such competitive prices. We will confirm the expected delivery window and keep you updated by WhatsApp, email and telephone. The driver will also call in connection with collection and delivery.
We normally require at least one week’s notice. Booking early gives us the best opportunity to match your move with the right route, vehicle space and collection date.
Availability can vary by country, load size and time of year, so we recommend booking as soon as your date is known.
Yes. We arrange collections across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, then deliver door to door throughout our European network. Collections from islands, remote areas or addresses with restricted vehicle access may require an individual route check before booking.
Yes. Our service operates in both directions. We can collect from Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the Czech Republic or Luxembourg and deliver to addresses throughout the UK.
The same shared-load model helps us keep return journeys affordable. Tell us the collection country, UK delivery postcode, preferred date and load size, and we will check the next suitable route.
Yes. Kanguro customers moving to another country receive up to two months of storage free of charge. Storage is available in the UK and in all of our destination countries.
We can collect and store your belongings in the UK until you are ready for international transport. Alternatively, we can move them directly to the destination country and store them there until your new home is ready.
This is useful when completion dates change, you are still looking for accommodation or you cannot receive the delivery immediately. Tell us which country you would prefer to use for storage when requesting your quote.
We collaborate with a professional customs agency to ensure smooth clearance.
We would need the following documents:
For moving to the UK, you will also need to apply for ToR1.
If you are transferring your normal residence to Great Britain, you may need to apply to HM Revenue & Customs for Transfer of Residence relief using form ToR1. This can provide relief from customs charges on eligible personal belongings. HMRC commonly requires an inventory, the photo page of your passport, proof of your new UK address and proof of your previous address outside the UK.
Rules depend on your circumstances, and different arrangements apply to certain moves, including moves from the European Union to Northern Ireland. Check the official HMRC ToR1 guidance and send the relevant approval reference and documents to our team before transport.
No. Pianos and motorbikes are not accepted as part of our European removals service. Tell us about any other unusually heavy, oversized or specialist item before booking so we can confirm whether it can be transported safely.
Tell us about stairs, floor numbers, lifts, narrow roads, parking restrictions, gated entrances and any distance between the property and the vehicle. You should also identify fragile, oversized, unusually heavy or high-value items before booking.
Accurate information helps us allocate the correct vehicle and collection time. It also reduces the risk of delays or unexpected additional costs on moving day.
Our team provides updates by WhatsApp, email and telephone. The driver will also call in connection with collection and delivery, helping you prepare for arrival at each address.
We normally require a deposit of approximately 50% when the booking is confirmed. The remaining balance is payable after your belongings have been loaded.
The exact amounts and payment instructions will be shown in your booking confirmation. Review the route, load size, dates, access information and any customs charge before paying the deposit.
Use our online booking system and provide:
We will use this information to calculate the price and plan the most suitable route. If you need help estimating the load or preparing customs documents, call 020 4525 8377 or email info@kanguro.co.uk before booking.
